Joint Safeguarding Partnerships L&D Strategic Plan

The Brent Safeguarding Partnerships Learning and Development Strategy (2026) sets out a shared vision for strengthening the multi-agency safeguarding learning and development offer in Brent.

Building on a strong foundation of multi-agency collaboration, this strategy moves beyond traditional training models to embed a culture of continuous learning, reflection, and shared responsibility. It recognises that effective safeguarding depends not only on knowledge, but on how partners work together, learn from practice, and apply insights to improve outcomes.

At its core, the strategy aims to support a skilled, confident workforce and strengthen collaboration across agencies, ensuring that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and that learning continuously drives better outcomes for Brent’s communities.
