Brent SCP Escalation Policy

Brent Safeguarding Children Partnership (SCP) is committed to effective working together to promote safeguarding children at risk of harm in the borough. To achieve this, the SCP expects all strategic partners and member agencies to support their staff to work in a relationship based, collaborative way.

Each partner and member agency of the SCP should have its own escalation policy in place. This policy must only be used when the individual agencies have enacted their internal escalation policy but have not been able to resolve the disagreement with the other agency, in a timely way that prioritises the safety of the child at risk.
